2009 Deaf and Hard of Hearing Awareness Days

Six Flags Deaf and Hard of Hearing Awareness Day took place on June 13, 2009.

Practicum students from St. Louis Community College at Florissant Valley as well as professional interpreters volunteered their time.

Ricky Rowray was our "magical" entertainment for the day!

With some audience participation he dazzled us with his tricks.

The State Committee of Interpreters was one of our exhibitors for the day.

Sorenson VRS was another exibitor that attracted a lot of attention.

Worlds of Fun Deaf and Hard of Hearing Awareness Day was July 11, 2009.

Everyone came out to have some fun in the sun in July. Wait! is that really...?
