Worlds of Fun Deaf and Hard of Hearing Awareness Day started out rather soggy on July 12, 2008.
Rain or shine, the shows (and the chatting) continued!!
Luckily the rain ended and friends came out to enjoy the rest of the day.

One of the shows interpreted at Worlds of Fun was the dog show!

Silver Dollar City Deaf Awareness Weekend was August 9, 2008.
Information and sign up was available for a Deaf/Hard of Hearing emergency preparedness group - called CERT.
Sprint/Relay MO also had information to share.
HUNDREDS of people who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing came out to Silver Dollar City on one of the busiest weekends of the year.
Unfortunately, the rains came later in the day. People adjusted and found indoor places to socialize. Here: near the glass blowing demonstration.
