It has come to
my attention that I goofed when I sent out the message informing
people about the public hearing on Senate Bill 274 (mandatory
insurance coverage for hearing aids for dependent children) in that
I failed to specify the time of the committee hearing. The bill will
have a public hearing before the Senate Small Business, Insurance
and Industrial Relations Committee in Senate Committee Room # 1
tomorrow (Wednesday) at 2:00 p.m. Advocates who are interested in
seeing this bill adopted should attend the meeting and testify if
possible. If that is not possible, then they should contact the
members of that committee by e-mail, fax, phone or regular mail and
urge their support of the bill. Regular mail should be addressed as
follows:
