SB 274 - Hearing Aid Insurance Bill Reported "Do Pass"

SB 274 mandates insurance companies that write policies in Missouri to provide coverage for hearing aids for dependent children up to 19 years of age. The Missouri Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing testified before the Senate Small Business, Insurance and Industrial Relations Committee in support of SB 274 on 2/19/03. A Committee Substitute Bill was reported out of that Committee "Do Pass" on 2/20/03 and placed on the Consent Calendar. All advocates who wish to see SB 274 passed this year should now contact their local State Senator and urge his or her support for the bill when it is voted on.
