MCDHH Awards
(To be given
at the annual MCDHH Awards Ceremony
that is held in conjunction with the Missouri Interpreters
Conference)
MCDHH
Deaf Evaluator of the Year-- To be given
to the deaf
evaluator who has made an
outstanding
contribution to the MICS during the past year. The
recipient is to
be chosen
by the MICS Coordinator
in collaboration with the MCDHH Executive Director.
MCDHH
Hearing Evaluator of the Year-- To be
given to the
hearing evaluator who has
made an
outstanding contribution to the MICS during the past
year. The
recipient is to
be chosen by the MICS
Coordinator in collaboration with the MCDHH
Executive
Director.
MCDHH Lifetime Achievement Award-- To be
periodically awarded to an individual,
organization, or
company for outstanding achievement over a long period
of time
on
behalf of Missourians with hearing loss.
Individual recipients need not live in
Missouri
at the time
of their selection, and no individual, organization or
company may
receive
this award more than once.
Recipients are to be selected by the Executive
Director of
the MCDHH in consultation with the Chair of the Commission.
MCDHH
Angel Award-- To be periodically awarded to an individual, organization, or company that has
contributed significantly to the
mission of the MCDHH during the past year. No individual,
organization, or company may receive this award more than once every five years.
Recipients are to be selected by the MCDHH staff.
MCDHH Employee of the Year Award-- To be given to
the MCDHH staff member who
has made an outstanding contribution to MCDHH during the past year. The
recipient
is to be chosen by majority vote of the entire MCDHH staff, and will be chosen
on a
calendar year basis. A staff member who receives the “MCDHH Employee of the
Year
Award” in any given year shall be ineligible to receive the award in the
following year.
