  Certification for TAP-T Program

The Missouri Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
(MCDHH) is an Equipment Approving Agent for the
Missouri Assistive Technology.  MCDHH can certify you as
having a hearing loss and assist you with the selection of
available equipment designed for those who are deaf, hard
of hearing or deaf-blind.  Some types of equipment available
through TAP-T include amplified phones, voice carry over
(VCO) phones, TTYs, and large visual display TTYs.
TAP-T also provides telephone signaling devices to alert
deaf and hard of hearing individuals when the phone is
ringing.

For additional information about TAP-T, referrals to the
nearest Equipment Approving Agent or Demonstration
Equipment Site, or to make an appointment, please contact
Kim Davis at Kim.Davis@mcdhh.mo.gov or
(573) 526-5205 (V/TTY).
