     Training and Workshops       

MCDHH offers workshops and training throughout
Missouri on a variety of topics related to hearing loss. 
Topical areas include, but are not limited to, the nature
of deafness, the legal rights of persons with hearing
loss, Deaf culture, problems related to hearing loss,
Deaf education, interpreting services, American Sign
Language, and empowerment of persons who are deaf
and hard of hearing.  

In order to request that a workshop or training session be
provided in your area, please contact Kim Davis,
MCDHH  Workshop/Training Specialist, by sending e-mail to
her at Kim.Davis@mcdhh.mo.gov or calling her at
(573) 526-5205 (V/TTY). 

Check the link below to see what workshop you might be
interested in.  However, if you do not find a workshop in which
you are particularly interested, Kim can create a workshop or
training session on a wide variety of topics designed for
any
type of group.
